Qingming Festival

Ching Ming, is the time when family members and friends in Malaysia get together to celebrate the annual "Ancestors Day" or "Tomb Sweeping Day".

People observe by paying tribute at their ancestors' graves. It's a time-honoured custom that is held in great reverence by Malaysians, as people pay a visit to their late ancestors' tomb sites with chrysanthemums, roses, lilies, carnations and vases of other flowers that are in tones of white and yellow along with joss sticks to mark this special day.
